ElektroPhysik’s CTM-S systems provide continuous thickness measurements of extruded, web fed materials. The measuring range that these systems cover is from .40 to 240 mils (.040” to .240”) over flat materials with material temperature not exceeding 248ºF. We can accommodate web widths as wide as 120” or 10 ft. without special considerations. The CTM-S can be configured with a AC Traversing Drive to scan across the material width as the material is being processed. Alternatively, the CTM can be configured with a TK gantry system with up to 3 fixed probes.
